Yazd-Gyumri sign twin city contract

Ancient Iranian city of Yazd has been announced as a sister city to Armenia’s Gyumri.

Yazd's twin sister contract was signed with the Armenian city of Gyumri in order to strengthen the cultural and tourism ties between the two cities.

The event was held as a video conference in the presence of Iranian and Armenian cultural officials.

This contract was signed in the field of developing cooperation in tourism, urban and economic, cultural, artistic and academic interactions.

Gyumri is the world’s eighth city to sign the contract with the Iranian city.
